Renovue

How Renovue works

See it. Price it. Plan it.

Renovue shows you what your own space could look like at your budget, what that budget typically covers, and what it would take to make it real.

Steps

  1. 1

    Upload your photo.

One photo of the room or the front of your house, straight from your phone. Your browser shrinks it and strips location data before anything is sent.

  2. 2

    Choose your budget.

Pick the room type and a budget from $5K to $100K+. Add a style or a note if you like. No design skills or prompts needed.

  3. 3

    Renovue visualizes the space.

An AI image model edits your actual photo: same camera angle, walls, windows and doors, with the finishes a project at that budget would typically change.

  4. 4

    Review preliminary costs.

See a planning range for that budget and where the money typically goes: cabinets, flooring, labor, contingency and so on.

  5. 5

    Build your Project Plan.

For $19, turn the concept into a plan: scope of work, budget scenarios, cost breakdown, materials, the order the work happens in, and the questions to ask your contractor. Includes more visual concepts and a PDF.

Where the numbers come from

Estimates come from Renovue's own cost model, not from the AI. For each room type, the model knows what a project at each budget level typically includes and how the money usually divides between categories like cabinets, flooring, labor and contingency.

Every budget is shown as a range, because real projects vary:

BudgetScopePlanning range
$5KQuick refresh$4,000–$6,500
$10KRefresh$8,000–$13,000
$15KRefresh$12,000–$19,000

$50KTransform$40,000–$65,000
$100K+Full transformation$85,000–$150,000

Preliminary planning estimate only. Actual costs vary based on location, labor, materials, existing conditions, project scope and contractor. Renovue does not provide contractor quotes.

Questions homeowners ask

Is Renovue's cost estimate a contractor quote?
No. It's a preliminary planning estimate to help you understand what a budget could cover. Only a contractor who has seen your home can quote the work.
How accurate is a Renovue estimate?
Treat it as a planning range, not a price. Every estimate shows a low-to-high range, not a single number, and it doesn't yet adjust for your location, your home's existing conditions or specific products. Real quotes can fall outside the range.
Can Renovue remodel my actual room photo?
Yes — that's the point. The AI edits the photo you upload rather than generating a new room. Results are concepts, so details can differ from what's buildable; use them to explore and communicate ideas, not as construction drawings.
Does Renovue preserve my existing layout?
It's instructed to keep the camera angle, walls, windows, doors, ceiling height and other structure in place, and to change only what the budget would typically change. Large budgets may reconfigure cabinets or furniture, but never move walls or windows.
Can I try different budgets?
Yes. The free remodel uses one budget. The Project Plan lets you visualize and compare other budgets and styles on the same photo.
How does Renovue use AI?
Two ways: an image model edits your photo to show the remodel concept, and a language model reads your photo to personalize the written scope, sequence and contractor questions in your Project Plan. AI never sets the prices — those come from our cost model.
What happens to my photos?
They're stored privately and shown to you through links that expire in minutes. If you don't save, share or buy a plan, they're deleted automatically after 7 days. Nothing is public unless you choose to share it.
